The Launch of ‘She-Notes’ and exciting forthcoming events!

Back to News

We are thrilled to announce our latest recording ‘She-Notes’, featuring a superb variety of works for our ensemble by female composers.

With the ever-increasing importance of diversity in music and as three women ourselves, we wanted to build on the foundation of our core repertoire and bring our combination well into the 21st Century. So, the idea of ‘She-Notes’ was born.

We had two extremely successful days of recording in a lovely quiet Weston Gallery at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and as luck was on our side, we were suggested the project title of ‘She-Notes’ by a fellow train passenger on our journey home from recording!

Looking ahead, we continue to find new avenues for our music, whilst supporting the younger generation of composers in premièring new work. Do get in touch if you are a composer and have a piece you would like us to look at! We have an exciting project coming up which celebrates International Women’s Day on 8th March and will see us working with students at Kings School in Gloucestershire. More details to come!
